Description
The Rajput kings of Mewar, in Rajasthan, struggled endlessly to keep their kingdom free from invaders. Theirs are stories of courage, determination and even defiance, fighting an enemy far larger and better equipped then they were. Rana Kumbha united and secured Mewar. He also built Kumbalgarh, the highest fort in Rajasthan. Rana Pratap was a king without a kingdom. But he fought on, irrespective of the personal cost, hoping to free his motherland from the mighty Mughal empire. As Babur invaded India, Rana Sanga stood firm against him. Sanga was defeated by treachery, but his bravery would inspire Rajputs everywhere.
